I have been looking for a desktop tool so I can display weather info and computer stats. I have pretty limited success, but so far, this seems to be the best tool I can find. There are a number of premade scripts and quite a few things you can do on your own. It is still rather tricky to get it working really nice, but if you do, you will be quite happy with the results.
